The Asthma module has been endorsed by the CTS and CRHP on the recommendation of the CTS Asthma Committee and Chair, Dr. Diane Lougheed" and by the FPAGC on the recommendation of Dr. Alan Kaplan, Chair of the FPAGC.

The Asthma and Its Management Module will teach you the latest information and training in asthma care, based on the Canadian evidence-based Guidelines. The guiding force behind this program is the desire to improve the quality of life of people living with asthma. It is no secret that asthma causes burden on people with asthma, their families and the health care system. Asthma causes a significant burden on people with asthma, their families and the health care system. Asthma is responsible for significant indirect and direct costs to our health care system and to the individuals living with asthma and their families. Through the instruction provided, health care professionals can promote improved asthma self-management and help reduce related health care costs.
